About Me

I have been traveling pretty much since I was born. By the time I was three years old, I was packing my own bag for trips with my family. Never did I imagine myself blogging about my trips, experiences with various cultures, and offering advice for traveling. However, I had to start a blog for my first college class ever as a dual credit student in high school. Little did I know that would be the beginning of my blogging journey that has only intensified my love for traveling and learning about cultures around the world.

I started Kimi's Travel Thoughts in 2014 with the goal of getting an A in my English class. However, I enjoyed having a dedicated space to write my thoughts and share them with the world. Once the semester was over, I chose to continue writing and transformed Kimi's Travel Thoughts into the travel and culture blog it is now. Well, it didn't look exactly like this before. As you may have noticed, I have Archives which are posts that were originally published on my previous blog site that have since been migrated to this website. Being a high school student, college student, and starting my career made it very difficult to write and post consistently. My life is finally stable  enough where I can put forth adequate effort in maintaining Kimi's Travel Thoughts. 

I like to think of myself as an explorer, charting the path for my readers. My hope is that this blog can help make your next travel experience the best one yet!
